A family that took that 'Go Forth and Multiply' shit seriously

A recent family photo that shows six generations of women and a 98-year-old matriarch meeting her great-great-great-granddaughter for the first time in Kentucky has gone viral.

Seven-week-old Zhavia Whitaker met her great-great-great-grandmother, MaeDell Taylor Hawkins, at a nursing home residence in Kings Mountain, Kentucky, on Saturday, Feb. 18.

  2. Lots and lots of women imagine a table filled with generations of children. Few are willing to do the work required to see it.

    God had blessed that family.

  3. When I saw some of the first names I played guess the race game, but for once in years I got it wrong.

  4. When our oldest was about 5 weeks we took a picture of her being held by my wife's grandmother, so only 4 generations of women. Sadly she passed before she got to hold her 2nd great grandchild.

Now our oldest is 19 and the mother in law is harrassing her about having a kid as she wants a great grand baby to hold.

  5. I met a guy outside of Gainesville Fl. in the early 70's who, at 36 years old, had a 2 year grandson. I thought that was pretty remarkable at the time...

    1. My ex wife was a grandmother at 36. I was 5 years younger so that made me a step-grandpa at 31.

    2. Isn’t there a song about being your own grandpa or something?
