North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un has put an entire city under lockdown after 653 bullets went missing during a military withdrawal, it has been claimed.
The dictator's officials have searched house-to-house in the city of Hyesan, which has a population of around 200,000 people, for the ammunition, two sources told Radio Free Asia.
Well, if they come looking around here, likely they will find them, before they expected. Like when the French tourist aboard H.MS. Victory asked if the stacked cannon balls were the ones fired at the French Navy. Tour guide replied "No ma'am, the French navy still has those".
There are probably that many rounds rattling around loose in my range bags!
ReplyDeleteAssault rifle ammunition. Smfh.

There is a misunderstanding here: he was looking for the household where people consumed more than 653 calories per day.
ReplyDeleteSounds a single case of ammo. Heck the fbi loose more than that a week and never bother looking for it.

It's easy to "lose" ammo if it's lying around "loose".
DeleteI can't say that I'd notice half a can of bullets missing; I'd just assume I must have shot them up during my last visit to The Cove
ReplyDeleteOr..... I can't say that I'd notice half a can of bullets missing, I have no idea how much ammo I have.
DeleteThe loss wouldn't be worth noting except that the lost bullets were loaded into 653 rifles at the time.
ReplyDeleteHang on, let me check my desk drawer...........There they are.!

ReplyDeleteI watched South Korea freak out once when I was there about 2 guys that used Army rifles to rob stores. South Korea is huge on gun control.
