the old shake and bake for chicken works very well too. grandma used to fry them up for us when I was a kid. did the same with rabbit or she baked them with some honey glaze that was very good eating !
For those of you who have not had squirrel, you do not know what you're missing. I love a good ribeye, but squirrel is better. My son recently lamented that he wished he could have it more often.
