  1. Innit funny that the news article makes NO mention of the books subject, content or themes?
    Kinda conspicuously absent...

  2. Stupid. Make your complaints known and pull your kid. Now he looks like the bad guy for resisting the grooming of his kid.

    1. No he is a good guy.

Evil will be called good, and Good called evil.

      Thats ok.

      War is coming.

    2. You misunderstood me. He needs to pull his kid from the school. The book is filth. By speaking out and making threats, he just reinforces their narrative that we're a bunch of violent intolerant nutjobs.

    3. No Jen. You are the one that doesn't understand. It doesn't matter what the fuck we say or do we are the bad guys. Got it? Now it's time we act like that. It helps I don't give a flying fuck what liberals think of me. Never apologize either.

  4. Since the article was totally content free.. Here is the blurb on Amazon for PET, by Akwaeke Emezi. This critter uses they/them pronouns and has the bright warn-off hair color you would expect.

"A genre-defying novel from the award-winning author NPR describes as “like [Madeline] L’Engle…glorious.” A singular book that explores themes of identity and justice. Pet is here to hunt a monster. Are you brave enough to look?

There are no monsters anymore, or so the children in the city of Lucille are taught. Jam and her best friend, Redemption, have grown up with this lesson all their life. But when Jam meets Pet, a creature made of horns and colors and claws, who emerges from one of her mother's paintings and a drop of Jam's blood, she must reconsider what she's been told. Pet has come to hunt a monster, and the shadow of something grim lurks in Redemption's house. Jam must fight not only to protect her best friend, but also to uncover the truth, and the answer to the question--How do you save the world from monsters if no one will admit they exist?

A riveting and timely young adult debut novel that asks difficult questions about what choices you can make when the society around you is in denial. "

  5. Here's a review of the book in question.

A thought-provoking and haunting novel about a creature that escapes from an artist's canvas, whose talent is sniffing out monsters in a world that claims they don't exist anymore. Perfect for fans of Akata Witch and Shadowshaper .

Ummmnnnhhhhh.....questionable, at the very best. Useless as allegorical fiction and as one might expect, anti-parent.

    1. I read a preview on Amazon and besides the content as described, it is filled with terrible grammar and sentence structure, more along the lines of AAVE.
Just what students need, more reasons to fall behind.

  6. You can bet he made the Justice Department's "Domestic Terrorist" list.

  7. "With Pet, Emezi focused on writing the book they wanted to read while they were growing up. To them, including a Black trans girl character who was supported by her parents and community — and who goes on adventures but is not in serious danger — was particularly important."

  8. Yep, Time to make these Cretans find out about grooming kids. The teacher should be arrested and not the Parent here. Some shit-bags have never been punched in the face, and it shows.

At some point we need to ask the "why" of all this trans-bullshit grooming? Is it that these perverts want sex with children, or is it something even worse? Whatever it needs to stop and good on this parent who stood up for his kid.

    1. Simple, it’s their method of procreation and they think the social /political environment allows the expansion of the “farm”. I’m willing to bet the majority of self identified Male homosexuals first sexual encounter was with an adult male. They can plant the seed in more ways than one now with books and drag show and “teachers” helping them.

  10. Some folks just don't get it. Today's FUSA is a different animal, there is NO Rule of Law. Only the left can make threat's because they are protected. If you are any other belief , you DO NOT make threat's unless you really like prison time. You just take the Action necessary and continue with your life like nothing unusual happened......

  12. You don't accomplish anything with threats. The way to solve the problem:
-Form a group with other parents to go to the school board with a petition, complaints at the school board meeting, etc. You know, the usual stuff they expect.
-During this process invoke Rule 308. Keep your mouth shut.
-Along with the other parents, teachers, etc. express shock and sadness, thoughts and prayers, yada, yada, yada.
    -Keep your mouth shut.

  13. From the summary and study guide.....

"Please be aware that Pet includes depictions of child sexual and physical abuse."

  14. Nice way to combat school boards here. Go after their bond. Typically they have one (individual members) and are personally on the hook for sizable deductibles. Attack through the bonding company. https://bondsforthewin.com/

  15. "making a threat of mass violence involving a school"

So the Bureaucrats and/or the Feds have invented another new law that wasn't on the books years ago.
