Then use your imagination to picture what happens from there.
Having pissed away virtually every economic advantage we ever had, and wasting all the gains in productivity and technology of the last 100 years by allowing govt to skim it all off via inflation and blow it on endless imperial follies and propping up society's dregs, we'll be fucked and done. Maybe then we get mad enough to inflict some lasting damage on the pieces of shit who ran us into the ground. Not that it'll do much good by that point.
Thing is, I'm no longer interested in heading off the crash and burn (as if I could anyway). The endemic problems with the way this country operates, it's dysfunctional governemnt, a majority of it's people, and even going all the way back to the enlightenment (which gave us the thinkers who eventually created western style democracy and all that sprang forth from it) has now demonstrably been a failed experiment. It self evidently doesnt - and can't - work. Not long term anyway. It has run out the 250 year course that so many of it's predecessors have. The people of the character and values needed to maintain it and proactively prevent it's destruction just doesn't exist in sufficient quantity to assure it's survival as a going concern.

DeleteYes, but we didn't and clearly can't keep it. Blackpilled? Damn straight I am, observable reality precludes any other reaction. The only thing I have left to cling to is that somehow a big enough giant fuck up (like sudden loss of reserve currency status) will leave the current govt ineffectual at being able to bring enough force to bear that the amount of misery, destruction and death they will be able to directly inflict will be quickly curtailed.
DeleteIf the illusion of US solvency (which is the pretension that is still making funding of govt operations possible) finally gets convincingly busted, there will be no govt or mil paychecks forthcoming, nor funds to supply fuel, meals or much of anything else to those the govt relies on to do their bidding. That would immobilize much of the tit-sucking govt staff who suddenly will have their chief incentive to do their "jobs" removed.
Some will probably remain a while thinking they will eventually be covered somehow, and others will simply resort to using their (now worthless) titles to inflict misery on others because they think they are entitled to, and lack anything better to do with their time. The Ceausescus were defiant right to their much deserved end, and we have countless pieces of shit with that sort of personality and attitude occupying the ranks of big govt who will doubtless have to be similarily dealt with.
And that is my best case scenario. Worst case is that the fedgov doesn't get kneecapped in time to prevent a massacre that will resemble what the what the bolsheviks, mau and other totalitarian shit stains managed to pull off.
