  1. Sure a good thing they stopped those dangerous pipelines, eh Warren?

  2. If the contents of thousands of bulk oil carriers were flowing through pipelines instead of rail cars then the overload on the rail system might be eased.
Of course then the Democrats favorite donor, Warren Buffet won't be getting richer.

    1. Poor WB-he will probably have to reduce the pay of his secretary, you know, the one who pays a higher income rate than he does. Or maybe he will be a nice guy and tell her she can keep her current pay level if she will start giving him 2 BJs every day.

  3. If only there were a safer way to transport hazardous liquid fuels! Maybe science could help us with that after they finish with climate change, vaccines, gender everything and AI smart cities. Oh, wait, we'll all be dead by then, nevermind.

  4. If only we could pump dangerous liquids through pipes underground. But that technology is at least an election away. BTW, ethanol rail carts derailment - that is alcohol abuse.

  6. Hmmm...more n more derailments. Food production facility fires. multiple death shooter events at Schools, Churches, shopping malls, nightclubs...
Does the phrase 'Death by a thousand cuts' pop into anyone else's mind ?
You know... the one where the victim doesn't realize (or admit ?) he's under attack, or even the severity of it all until about the same time he bleeds out.

  7. Ethanol, Menthenol, Smentanol. What happened to the barge sinking in the Ohio river with 1,400 tons of Methanol recently?

  8. I don't know what the "normal" number is for train derailments across the country, but it sure seems to me there have been a lot of 'em lately. If I were the suspicious type I'd say some sabotage is occurring.

  10. There were actually less train accidents last year than in the preceding 22 years. Incidents have been decreasing on average since 2000.
    2000- approx 3,000 accidents
    2021- approx 1,700 accidents

    1. Those in commercial aviation or maritime are far ahead of you.

Its not the number of accidents, its the severity of the damage caused. As we have recently seen, even ONE accident can wipe out an entire town or cause even greath death and destruction.
