Backfired, huh?

Bud Light's vice president said she wanted to update its 'fratty' branding with 'inclusivity' days before Dylan Mulvaney's partnership was unveiled.

Alissa Heinerscheid spoke on a business podcast on March 30 to claim that the Anheuser-Busch beer had been 'in decline for a really long time' - despite it being America's number one brew with a market share of more than 13 percent.

The Harvard graduate stated that it was essential that the brand attract more female and younger drinkers because otherwise 'there will be no future for Bud Light.'

  1. So she thinks that making a man who is one of the most insulting caricatures of a women you could ever find, as your spokes"woman" is going to get female customers. Wow.

  2. I do not drink their beer before the ads but no way will I drink it now. These Corporate dunces have gone off rails and are killing their company and stock. If they are not pink slipped soon then the corporation is doomed.

  3. Maybe she should have tried making it a better "beer"? I know, silly me....its really not a beer anywho.

Any Modelo or Corona drinkers, be aware, they are owned by the same company.

  4. Bud Lite's core market is rednecks and frats. They don't drink it for the taste, they drink it to get drunk. This leftardian VP seems to think she can keep her core market while catering to fags, trannies, dykes, and soy-boys in skinny jeans with man buns.
The frats may go along with it - they tend to be pretty stupid - but rednecks aren't going to drink "queer beer". (I heard it called that this weekend)

    1. You completely missed the third part of the bud light drinking trifecta - Hispanic folks, with or without documentation. Field workers seem to be half rack a day + consumers of mainly bud light around here

    2. All the field workers around here (and in the part of California I lived in) drink Modelo or Corona.

    4. I worked in a liquor store for a few years and Bud Lite was almost exclusively sold to red necks and obvious alcoholics. The Hispanics, largely landscaping crews where I was, would come in at the end of the day a split a six pack of Modelo

    5. One of my late brother's Mexican workers asked a white worker if he ever drank Modelo. The white guy said no and the Mexican said, I didn't think so, Modelo is a Man's beer.

Me and my brother laughed our asses off.

    6. I haven't had a beer in a few years now, but the last one I drank was a Modelo and the next one I drink will be a Modelo too. I've been a big fan of it for quite a few years now. I especially like the Negra Modelo.

    7. Hate to break it to you, but Modelo is owned by Anheuser-Busch, as it Corona.

  5. I saw the Bud Lite babe talk over the weekend. I noticed her lips resemble those of Joy Behar and her snout looks like it was transplanted from Babs Streisand.

  7. She said buds advertising was dated and male focused. Who doesn't like the Clydesdale horses? Is she saying women don't like horses? How about the video where the horse frees his love from a circus. Is that male oriented? She's just a liberal Harvard grad trying to push her agenda and I hope she destroyed the company. I'd never buy that shit and that was my beer of choice for many years. Buy bud or their products you know what you support. Your call.

Why anyone is impressed by that qualifier I'll never understand.

  8. Something tells me Alissa was never well received at the frat parties serving Bud Light that she attended in college so this is her way of extracting social justice.

  10. Such a brilliant plan, to 'include' 0.01% of the population while pissing off at least 30% of the population. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.

  11. I admire the posturing. But, let's be honest. It's *beer*. And the United States is a first world country. It's not even possible, with United States' technology, to aquire the bill of materials needed. To feed into the robot factories. To have beer come out the other side. Let alone the robot technology needed to build the robots that will build the beer.

Maybe in a hundred years. If we're nice to our robot overlords. Our great-great-grandchildren can dream. Of a world. Where robots down the road. Conjure beer.

    But not here. Not today.

  12. I've never had a bud lite. I used to drink Michelob. I liked it but apparently I didn't buy enough of the stuff so they discontinued it and brought out lite versions of it. to me it's like non-alcholic beer, Why bother?

  14. If she weren't so encased in her woke bubble she would understand that the majority of women despise and resent men wearing "womanface" and parodying (and denigrating) femininity - not to mention usurping and dominating women's sports simply by declaring that "woman" means whatever a gender dysphoric man (or a mediocre male athlete who wants to set records) says it means (and worse, sexually assaulting children by wagging their genitals in their faces and calling it a harmless, entertaining "drag show," which cannot be questioned because HUMAN RIGHTS!!). I never drank Bud Lite anyway, but I will make a point of boycotting all Budweiser products (and they have a fair few) until they apologize to all biological women - around the time when hell freezes over, I'm guessing.

  15. That MIGHT have worked if they had done it in the first hour. It's Too Late, the damage is done.

  16. Intelligent marketing plan. Instead of marketing to the base and maybe trying to attract actual women, market to, perhaps, less than 1% of the population and piss off your base. Can't wait to see the impact on their decline. I wonder who she will market for in the future. I think the future decline will be more rapid.

  19. They really don't care if they lose money. This agenda was instituted by AB's owners, Blackrock and Vanguard. And their agenda is much more important than the beer. They, together, own more than 3 trillion dollars in assets. Just as Gilette didn't care about backlash from their "toxic masculinity" campaign, Bud and AB will continue this.....and more will join. Just watch. If you want to kill the snake, you must sever the head.
