DING!!!

The best part of the movie, hands down. My ex made me take her to go see Titanic, so here I am stuck in a theater with a shitload of sniveling women, and I'm bored to tears - until that scene where the guy jumps and clips that propeller with an audible ding. Me and one other guy busted out laughing, earning us the glares of every woman in the place.

  2. Never have, never will see that film. I remember the movie of my childhood. The thing that stood out was the guy that tried to dress like a women and get on a life boat. I was probably ten years old and thought that the ultimate of cowardice.

  3. That part makes me laugh too. If Titanic is on TV I wait for that moment then change the channel.

  6. I never watched the whole thing. I just looked it up. The movie is 3 hours and 14 minutes long. I tried to watch it with my wife at home, and I just couldn't stand it. I found the thing sappy anyway, and at over 3 hours, there was just no way.
I have Amazon and watch Amazon Prime movies quite often. I noticed that a lot of movies are getting over 2 hours long now. They are pushing it as far as I am concerned. The one exception I will make is The Godfather, in my opinion perhaps the best movie ever made, it is 2.55 hours long. But it is worth every minute of the nearly 3 hours. And every actor was magnificent, especially Brando.

    2. I've never been a tv fan and rarely went to movies. Today I'm slowing down a little and watch a movie on occasion on the computer. I watched The Godfather just the other day for the first time. Not that I have a lot of movies to compare it to but you are correct, it was a damn good film.

  7. I had just graduated high school when that movie was out. Girlfriend at the time made me go, or I wasn't getting any that weekend. Every guy in the theater busted out laughing at that scene. It was the best part of that movie other than the end credits!

  8. Had to go with the wife unit to see Meet Joe Black, best part of the movie is seeing Brad Pitt’s character get hit by a car. Busted out laughing and had everyone turn and give me the evil eye. Good times.
