PUTNAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A motorcyclist was flown to the hospital following a collision with a Putnam County EMS ambulance along Interstate 40 Sunday afternoon.
Hey, if you're going to hit a vehicle while riding a bike, you can't go wrong with an ambulance. There's instant on-site medical care and immediate transportation to a hospital.
A friend of mine hit his brakes on his motorcycle trying to make an emergency stop for a fire truck that was coming into the crossing. He went down. As the firemen said to him: "we were here BEFORE the crash, now THAT is fast service".
Instant on-site medical care.... IF you don't damage the ambulance so much that it can't be driven. Let's add that codicil to the statement.
