Meanwhile, we're still waiting for a Cracker Alert

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A new bill hopes to address the lack of attention and resources given to Black youth who go missing in California.

Senate Bill 673 would create an "Ebony Alert" notification system, similar to that of an Amber Alert, but it would be specifically for Black children and young Black women between the ages of 12 to 25. The bill would authorize law enforcement to request that an Ebony Alert be activated if that agency determines the alert would be an effective tool. Democratic State Sen. Steven Bradford, D-Gardena, introduced the bill.

    1. It will flash black, become noisy, won't work, and suddenly commit 56% of violent phone crime.

  2. Makes GTR too easy.
    Anyhoo, another 'Alert' to ignore.

  3. Not surprised to hear about this. It seems like the 'White Folk' are constantly left out.

Thousands of U.S. citizens took arms to 'Rid Us of Slavery' and gave up their limbs and lives to do so. Have you ever heard of getting credit for that ? Shouldn't we have a National holiday expressing gratitude for that ? 'Thank a Honky for your Donkey'. Lincoln didn't free the slaves - people chose to do this. And not a single word of gratitude, at least from what I hear.

    1. Another "Myth of the Civil War." Very, very few Whites risked life and limb to liberate slaves.

  4. No relations to the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850, I'm sure.

  5. Wouldn't it be better to look for missin' fathers?

    1. If your phone alarmed everytime a black father ran off you'd have a phone that did nothing but alarm.

  7. Maybe should try finding the father first?

  8. Brings to mind the MMIW train car on the siding in Manhattan Kansas. Missing and murdered Indigenous women. "No more stolen sisters " it proclaims. 90% of them were murdered by husbands or boyfriends on the reservation. The other 10% fled and are hiding to avoid that destiny.
Yup, we need a black alert system. Not enough streets are named Martin Luther King to warn of the danger.

    2. Canada did a report on missing and murdered indiginious women and it found 90% of the ones killed were killed by fellow natives. The bands were so pissed off the federal government scrapped the report and had a new one written that used 'verbal lefends' vs actual police data to assign blame for all the deaths to white males.

  9. Actions like these by so called activists are an affront to every action taken to ensure civil rights, end segregation and other actions. F-m, go ahead and self-segregate, hopefully to Liberia!

  10. The left has never given up on segregation. They've discovered that if they push the narrative that it's better for the dindus to be apart from YT, they're more likely to go along with it. Not that I mind. The less interaction I have with ferals, the better I like it.

  11. We're going to be notified if black people are in our vicinity? No?

  12. If it were a "Missing Baby Daddy Alert", it'll be going off every minute, 24/7.

  13. One of the first things I do with a new phone is shut off all those annoying "alerts". I learned that lesson when I got my first smart phone and it started giving me Tornado alerts, and Amber alerts, and traffic alerts from cities *hundreds* of miles away. Like I give a shit if some dindo is missing in Chicago.

  14. Can they really be 'missing' if no one is looking for them?

  15. What, no similar alert (with descriptive details) for violent POC criminals?
