I knew a gal who wanted to rescue a seal from an aquarium. Most every night, the seal barked all through the night. Our heroine interpreted this as seal talk for, Help me!
Finally, she enlisted a coupla gals to help her liberate the pinniped. For her troubles (B&E, trespassing, malicious mischief, theft, loss of revenue, property damage) the reprobate bit her leg and hand. Her hand was quite nearly unsalvageable.
