SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
A Rancho Cordova father is pushing to keep inmates convicted of certain child abuse crimes from using California's inmate firefighter program to shorten their time in prison.

The big question here is why are child molesters even allowed to work outside of prison walls?
Nope... the bigger question is "why are child molesters not six feet under or their ashes mixed into the prison flower garden?"
ReplyDeleteDemocrats need groomers.

ReplyDeleteI have a funny story about that...
ReplyDeleteYears ago I worked at an IT guy for a company that had lots of clients. Those clients had lots of employees who all wanted email on their phones.
Every single employee was told "If you want to hook up to corporate email, we need to install an app on your phone. That app will allow us to remotely wipe corporate data from your phone in the event you leave. But more importantly, if the company is ever subject to a lawsuit, it potentially means your phone might need to be handed over as part of the legal 'discovery' process. This means the entire contents of your phone might be viewable by lawyers."
Like I said, we had a large range of clients.
Nurses, doctors, dental assistants, lawyers, mechanics, construction workers, HVAC installers, optomitrists, chiropractors, etc...the all said "no problem" and set up email access.
There were two groups that were bitching the loudest...until we told them the above statement: Police and firefighters.
The moment I told them "that means if you have...uh...questionable or illegal content on your phones, there's a small chance lawyers might see it".
The firefighters and police immediately demanded they get "work phones".
The government obliged them...because hey...it's not their money. It's your money.
Funny thing is, a few months later we had issues with a few of the mail servers, and some of the "work phones" had to be set back up.
One of the firefighters had kiddie porn on his phone. I found this out, not because I went searching for it, but because it popped up when I opened the web browser to go download a new email config file.
One of the cops had a bunch of smut on his phone. Fortunately nothing involving children, but tons of "tabs" open to things like "rate my BJs". That was the cop that was in charge of investigating sex crimes against minors and adults.
I think pedophiles are attracted to positions of government power where they think they can hide their activities longer while potentially getting access to targets.
Fuck government. Abolish the police and fire departments. Go back to private security and fire.
If they end up hiring pedophiles I can stop paying them without facing being shot or locked in a cage like a dog.
Did you turn them in?
DeleteOf course...the only problem was...the police officer taking the report on the firefighter was the one who constantly browsed porn on his own phone. I left a few months later, but never saw any news story about a firefighter being arrested for kiddie shit.
