The Irrepressible Conflict

Politics is a fickle thing, particularly in today’s ever-churning news cycle. Before winning back people’s support and sympathy with his recent indictment, Donald Trump was upsetting everyone for his comments at a recent rally in Waco, Texas. The former president went off against potential rival Governor Ron DeSantis, characterizing him as a weak politician who owes his rise to prominence almost exclusively to Trump’s support: “I did rallies for Ron, massive rallies, and they were very successful. So we got him the nomination. We then got him the election.”

    I live in Florida. Disantis is a great governor. I hope he runs and is elected in '28 but for now Trump is my guy in '24. IMHO Trump is the only one who might turn this clown car of a country we are living in around. GO TRUMP!!! Oh, and fuck Gropey Joe Biden, up the ass...yada yada

    Trump trashes a Republican in a state he needs to win and praises a Democrat (Newsom) in a state he will never win. True colors shown, lack of ability to pick cabinet members who share his goals and being anti-2A and I'll sit this election out.

      I’m with Trump. We’re at a cross road, we can’t keep going the way we are under Biden, or Newsom if Biden is too senile to fake it anymore. Yes, there are third party candidates who will get 1% of the vote, but why bother. How does it help the country? If Biden or Newsom win, will they give a damn about that third party? Of course not.

      Now, if DeSantis somehow bests Trump in the primaries, yes DeSantis has to be supported.

      BTW, Trump never supported Newsom policies, he just said that Newsom never attacked him. That’s rare for a Democrat. Don’t listen to the media, read what Trump and DeSantis say directly. The media is hell bent for Democrats and will lie to make it happen.

    Remember the media loved Keating 5 mccain until he ran for president and then they attacked him. They love DiSantis mow because he is not Trump. If he runs and wins nomination he will be attacked mercilessly.
    After 8 years Trump knows whose recommendations to ignore. We need a scorched earth against the deep state. No more wrays and no more barrs.
