Video shows SUV narrowly missing students as it tears through campus

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police are looking for an SUV after it raced recklessly onto the campus of Franklin High School on Tuesday afternoon.

The driver behind the wheel of the SUV almost hit students as they tried to get out of the way. No one was hurt. It happened at about 2:30 p.m., which is typically dismissal time for students. It was all caught on video.

  1. Reminded me of: "On March 3, 2006, Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar intentionally hit people with a sport utility vehicle on the campus of the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill to "avenge the deaths of Muslims worldwide". Could this be a copycat?

  2. Interesting that the cops just let him drive away, and nobody is reporting any details on the driver or car, even with video available. Another Fedboi wind-up toy going off too soon?

  3. What a news story! Someone drove across the grass and didn't kill anyone. That could have been me a hundred times over.

  4. Let's see...wanna ban guns? Instigate shootings of unarmed people.
Wanna ban privately owned vehicles? Instigate wackos running down pedestrians.
