Everyone should be furious about this. I don’t want to hear, “Well I don’t have anything to hide.” Let me tell you. The government doesn’t care if you have nothing to hide.

Whenever someone tells me "I don’t have anything to hide." I respond by asking them a series of questions:
ReplyDelete- What is your social security number?
- What is your credit card number?
- How much do you make per year?
- What is your wife's (or your, if it's a woman) favorite sexual position?
I have a lot to hide. That doesn't mean that I am up to no good or out to harm anyone, it simply means that some things are private and are none of anyone's business but mine.

DeleteThe FBI and or NSA has those answers plus the fourth, especially if you have a microphone and camera equipped television, cellphone that does not turn "off", or other live online device (from Google, Apple, or another), or a wifi security camera in the house....or the backyard for that open-air on-the-swing position.

Goes all the way back to when J. Edgar stood up the Famous But Incompetent agency. The Church Committee hearings in '72 exposed what they were doing back then. All of the modern electronic toys and software we have these days just makes it easier for them so they can devote more time to harassing soccer moms at school board meetings and Christians attending church.
