FBI Claims It ‘Misused’ Digital Surveillance Tool Over 270,000 Times Between 2020-2021

The FBI sucks. Government sucks.

Everyone should be furious about this. I don’t want to hear, “Well I don’t have anything to hide.” Let me tell you. The government doesn’t care if you have nothing to hide.

An unsealed document shows the FBI supposedly “misused” a surveillance tool over 270,000 times from May 2020 to January 2021.

  1. Whenever someone tells me "I don’t have anything to hide." I respond by asking them a series of questions:
    - What is your social security number?
    - What is your credit card number?
    - How much do you make per year?
    - What is your wife's (or your, if it's a woman) favorite sexual position?
I have a lot to hide. That doesn't mean that I am up to no good or out to harm anyone, it simply means that some things are private and are none of anyone's business but mine.

    2. The IRS has the answers to the first three.
The FBI and or NSA has those answers plus the fourth, especially if you have a microphone and camera equipped television, cellphone that does not turn "off", or other live online device (from Google, Apple, or another), or a wifi security camera in the house....or the backyard for that open-air on-the-swing position.

  3. yeah. I know about one guy who worked for a 3 letter group of assholes who would use the
company "machines" to look up and check on people he didn't like. the fucker has done shit like that for fucking years and never got call on it. so. I really don't think much of anything is going to happen to our "betters" that do shit like this.
kind of like all of the noise on the scandal of all time hearing they doing now.
all it comes down to is them getting sound bites for their ad's to ask for more money to "keep doing the good work " bullshit. in the last god only knows how many years of these
"hearing" has anyone gone to jail or prison ? or even fined ? none that I can think off.
it all for show. it all bullshit. dave in pa.

  4. The ‘Misused’ Surveillance of US citizens has been around much earlier than 2020.
Now that the FBI admits to surveilling US citizens, do you feel better? Do you trust them?

    1. Goes all the way back to when J. Edgar stood up the Famous But Incompetent agency. The Church Committee hearings in '72 exposed what they were doing back then. All of the modern electronic toys and software we have these days just makes it easier for them so they can devote more time to harassing soccer moms at school board meetings and Christians attending church.

Ray Epps? He's just an ordinary citizen and had nothing to do with that alleged insurrection, despite video to the contrary.

    1. Heck, I'd be happy knowing that they permanently lost their cushy retirement. Of course the next sitting Democrat will just make it all up to them.
