Federal Watchdog: ATF Illegally Overpaid Millions To Agents
The U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC) alleged Tuesday the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) illegally overpaid millions to agents in non-law enforcement roles.
CNBC noted that the OSC found that more than 100 ATF agents working non-law enforcement roles “were improperly provided Law Enforcement Availability Pay (LEAP) and enhanced retirement benefits.”
Easy way to stop these corrupt assholes...defund and shut them down. There's no way that they didn't understand this. Garnish wages for over payment, and shut'em down
Yeah...I'm sure it's a mistake...right? Not a kickback or money laundering scam...or maybe just good old fashion screw the taxpayer and get rich doing it scam.
Take it out of the ATF budget and the Director of the ATF's compensation until they can claw back the improper pay and benefits from the individuals who received them.
ATF has a inflated view of its worth.
ReplyDeleteEveryone at the ATF is overpaid.
DeleteEspecially its new director, who is a complete and utter moron with a law degree.
DeleteThe scary thing is that he's better than David Chipman. Which still isn't saying much.
