TAHOE CITY, Calif. (KGO) -- An Oregon man has been arrested for possessing an arsenal of weapons after allegedly being spotted inside a Tahoe City movie theater with a gun, sheriff's officials said Tuesday.
I can't tell you the last time I went to a theater, maybe 2010? I was dating a PsychoChick who was a John Travolta fan and he just put out a new movie. Before that, I think the last movie I went to was when I was in the army, so I'm guessing 1981.
The last movie I saw was The Revenant and it was immensely entertaining watching Lee-oh-nard-oh De-cap-ree-oh getting mauled by the bear and nearly freezing to death. No happy ending, though. The little twerp survived.
Reminds me of the 4 long years, I lived in New Jersey. The local news would have headlines like, “The suspect was found to have an arsenal consisting of a rifle, a shotgun a pellet gun and over one hundred rounds of ammunition……” I guess it’s all a matter of perspective.
"During the course of the investigation, officers found the suspect had been inquiring about the movie theater's customer arrival times." - So he was asking when the movies started?
Shit, those Stasi would shit if they walked into my mud room.
Four guns isn't much, but it's a lot to be carrying at one time, and putting them in the car to go see a movie seems a little odd. He left 3 in the car, which really ought to be avoided when possible.
Or was he planning to scout the area, then get the rest of the weapons? That doesn't sound like he had good intentions. I mean, if the area is so bad you think you need 4 guns, you really ought to go to a different movie theater.
I can't tell you the last time I went to a movie when I didn't have a loaded gun on me. Having said that, it's always concealed.

I'm in West Virginia. Owning four guns is just going to get you laughed at.

I have more than that sitting within arms reach of my computer.
DeleteThey don't want to look in my safe......
ReplyDeleteYou can fit them all into one?
DeleteFour guns ain’t worth the effort. A man has to have back-up, and four hardly fits the bill.
ReplyDeleteThose are rookie numbers.

I wish the media were at least literate: An arsenal is a place weapons are manufactured. An armory is where they are stored.
ReplyDeleteAnd if four makes either, my nightstand will ROCK THEIR WORLD!
Uh, oh.
ReplyDeleteI’ve got 4 just in my truck.

DeleteHELL, I GOT MORE THAN THAT IN MY CAR
ReplyDeleteUh-oh...I carry two trap guns and three target rifles in my trunk.
