The Golden State is facing an opioid-fueled vagrancy epidemic, with cities like San Francisco and San Diego besieged with encampments and businesses shutting up shop.
Newsom was grilled on the subject by Fox News host Sean Hannity after the latest blow to San Francisco's downtown as Westfield stopped making mortgage payments on its massive mall due to crime and tanking sales.

ReplyDeleteI have no faith that even audits will expose the waste and fraud in Cali or any other government, they simply will not play nice or work with them. But that is what is needed, full open and thorough audits of all government entities.

DeleteArnold, the 'good' Republican that signed the California Global Solutions Act of 2006. That's the legislation that imposed a Cap and Trade Fee on every gallon of gas sold in California. Last I heard, it adds another 22¢ to every gallon of gas and gives the California Air Resources Board the option to raise that fee to 77¢ per gallon anytime they think they can get away with it.
