Gavin Newsom admits California's homeless situation is out of control but blames Republicans

Democratic governor Gavin Newsom has admitted that California's homelessness crisis is 'a disgrace' - but tried to blame Republicans for creating the situation.

The Golden State is facing an opioid-fueled vagrancy epidemic, with cities like San Francisco and San Diego besieged with encampments and businesses shutting up shop.

Newsom was grilled on the subject by Fox News host Sean Hannity after the latest blow to San Francisco's downtown as Westfield stopped making mortgage payments on its massive mall due to crime and tanking sales.

  2. Old Gavin would blame anyone these days. Oroville Dam Spillway cracked and broken, Not Enough $$$ to fix it even after Bond $$. His Kids Nanny or the Maid getting knocked up, Climate Change. Crops not getting planted or harvested, Trump's Energy Policies. My Family has been here since 1845 and this is the WORSE it's ever been. Can't wait for the Audits to start. It will not end well for him. Red

    1. I have no faith that even audits will expose the waste and fraud in Cali or any other government, they simply will not play nice or work with them. But that is what is needed, full open and thorough audits of all government entities.

  3. Nuisance is right of course. If republicans would have finished the wall and would not have let democrats tear down the piece that they finished, there would not be a mass of illegals and their drugs entering the country.

  4. Wasn't Ronald Reagan the last Republican governor of California?

    1. Arnold, the 'good' Republican that signed the California Global Solutions Act of 2006. That's the legislation that imposed a Cap and Trade Fee on every gallon of gas sold in California. Last I heard, it adds another 22¢ to every gallon of gas and gives the California Air Resources Board the option to raise that fee to 77¢ per gallon anytime they think they can get away with it.

Thanks, Good Republican Arnie! You're a real conservative! Please continue to lecture us about Climate Change, as you're such an expert on the subject, you effing prick.

    2. Allow me to gloat: I bitched about paying $3.13 a gallon yesterday and registered my truck last week for 70 bucks.

    3. The cheapest around here is $4.69.
If I was to live in a state with fuel as cheap as yours I'd never bitch. Every time I'd fuel up I'd say to myself "I just saved at least a dollar fifty a gallon", regardless of what the price was.

    4. Nah, I bitch about it while remembering prices from 2020.

  6. To show what an idiit "my" governor is, to be interviewed by Sean Hannity shows it. Pity that John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou did not do it. There would of been blood on the floor.
