UpRising Bakery in Lake in the Hills, which recently raised over $30,000 to remain open, announced they have permanently closed due to low sales after being the victim of a hate crime.
What do these folks not understand? The terms "family friendly" and "drag show" should only be used together in this manner - "Drag shows are not family friendly."
Maybe they should’ve stuck exclusively to baking bread, cakes, and other things that bakeries make. I’m sure that if they donated their day-old bread and other wares to a soup kitchen as many bakeries do, there would be no issues.
"“A campaign was initiated to discredit, damage and defame Ms. Sac, her staff, her food, and her patrons. Protesters spent more than 120 consecutive days on the property, creating disturbances, inciting violence, photographing license plates of patrons, and harassing them on social media and online,” the business said."
Amazing how they bitch when the other side uses Antifa tactics on them.
That's what happens when you try and sit on a fence, ultimately the stronger side knocks you off.Simple math would have solved this issue...99+ straight vs. <2% batshit crazy. They came, they chose, they lost.
The primary objective of a private business is the generate revenue. Pissing off the public is not a good way to go about this. Hate crime my ass. That's like saying a place that sells shit sandwiches is closing because hateful people don't like bread.
Funny how is great and wonderful when faggots and trannies and other leftists protest and cancel but if normal people do it that it's a shame and hateful.
I was a full time Firefighter in Lake in the Hills Fire Dept for 10 years. I had been on many fires and did a lot of EMS calls. I left the dept 12 years ago because of politics. I refused to be a good little robot. Best thing I ever did was leave. A combat Vet does not always fit in with the ego maniacs of modern firefighting. I am old school and have long hair and beard and moved into a very small rural community far away from that town population of 200 people. .
Curious to see if this all wasn't a set up. Failing business? Stage a hate crime to generate sympathy. Raise funds to reopen. Don't reopen, sell business, keep funds. Exploit sypathy.
"Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey, goodbye..."

ReplyDeleteA 1/4 mile strip of asphalt and cars with loud big ass engines is the only type of drag show that's family friendly.

A “family friendly” organization that hosts drag queen shows? What’s family friendly about that. People want donuts and cake, not fruit loops.
