I knew from the second I saw that Ford was making them that I'd never own one.
I grew up in the good old days when trucks were trucks and not $80,000 luxury automobiles with a bed that's maxed out when you put 3 30 gallon garbage cans in it.
Just this morning I tried to find a new pickup with a standard or short cab, a manual transmission and an 8 foot bed. They're not to be found.
Once saw an F150 opened up like a sardine can, the whole side of the box peeled back from the end of the cab to the tailgate....likely he had duck tape to tape it back together, stronger than the whole box...
#3. Not like it hasn't been caught out in the rain at some point in it's life. I left a t top car out without tops put back on because. It was nice out when I parked it. Heavy rains overnight and I was vacuuming water out the next day.

Looking at the direction the hook tore through the fender, the loose end of the strap got tangled around the wheel.
DeleteHey Elmo, get yourself a cab and chasis 3/4 or 1 ton and put a flatbed on it, then you'll have a work truck....
