North Carolina GOP votes to censure Sen. Tillis for supporting LGBTQ+ rights
GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Republican delegates in North Carolina voted Saturday at their annual convention to censure Thom Tillis, the state’s senior U.S. senator, for supporting policies they said violate key tenets of the GOP platform.
Tillis didn't "stray" from conservative values. He never held them from the beginning.
ReplyDeleteOh, thank God... J/K
ReplyDeleteCensure = formal disapproval = nothing
"...ability to work across the aisle..." = willingness to compromise conservative values = RINO
Good they disapprove, too bad their angst has no teeth and is just another extension of the circus, dog & pony division.

there is no such thing as lgbtq rights. we all have the same rights. giving more to one group or another is unconstitutional.
ReplyDeleteSo, what does "censure" mean? Is like like calling him a fucker to his face? What weight does it have, really?
ReplyDeleteIf Tillis was running for Dog catcher against Biden I'd stay home.
ReplyDeleteHe definitely will not get my vote - never been a real fan anyway.
ReplyDeleteNow, THAT'S gonna leave a mark.
