Pentagon bans drag shows on military bases after GOP pressure

A day before the Pentagon celebrated the June 1 start of Pride Month, top defense leaders were quietly enforcing a military-wide ban on drag performances.

  1. They needed external pressure to walk back this madness. How long until points for promotion are based upon observed drag performing by a member of the forces, open/flagrant gheyness, trannyism? Imagine how formidable that fighting force will be and the fear that will course through the veins of the Rooskies and Chinese! All forces will rush then to emulate the model of progressivism. This is not as far off as you may think. Glad I'm out of that.

  3. Today was the 79th anniversary of D-Day. How long until it's a forgotten day? General Theodore Roosevelt III was the only General officer to land with the troops. His landing craft was pushed about a mile off course from their designated zone. After reconnoitering the beach he told his commanders "Gentlemen, we'll start the war here."
His commander, Major General Barton expected that he would never see him alive again. General Roosevelt's calm confident demeanor helped steady the troops in the first crucial hours of the invasion. He died from a heart attack only a few weeks after the invasion.
