"Do not release the dog!"

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Body camera video released on Friday by the Ohio State Highway Patrol shows a police dog attacking an unarmed man who was driving a commercial truck and had surrendered during a July 4 incident.

The incident in southern Ohio followed a three-county chase as officers attempted to pull over the commercial truck driver whose vehicle was “missing a left rear mud flap” and failed to stop for an inspection, CNN reported.

K-9 officer put on leave after police dog attacks surrendering suspect

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio -- An Ohio K-9 officer has been put on administrative leave, and his dog placed in a kennel, following an incident this month in which the animal was captured on body-camera footage attacking a truck driver as he was surrendering to state troopers with his hands up following a highway chase, an official told ABC News on Monday.

  1. It looked like the cop was wrong, but I'll wait till the facts shake out. However, if BLM and the guilt ridden white liberals jump in it'll be another George Floyd scenario.

  2. Wait until the cops are all third world 'asylum seekers'.

Looked pretty compliant to me, I dunno - hands up, on his knees.... Looks like his left arm was complying pretty well with the dog's teef too. Staties were pretty pissed.

  4. ...and then cops and sycophant politicians wonder why a large percentage of citizens have a low opinion of cops. 99.9999% of cops give the rest a bad name.

Why is there any "investigation". The cops own body camera's convict the cop. He should be summarily fired, have his law enforcement credential REVOKED so he can never work in law enforcement again and forfeit any and all accumulated pension. That's the only way these f*ckers will ever learn.

Then there's the "we can't reveal disciplinary matters" to the public from cop management and local politicians. These people WORK FOR US. it is assuredly our right, as employers, to know what they did about this.

    1. The investigation is to buy time to conjure a story plausible enough to hoodwink the largest amount of people.

  6. Gosh, Just look at that shit!

A trained dog that NEEDS to be shot for attacking a taxpayer, in the presence of police, but remains living (not shot, at least, by the cops) . This professional dog was obviously NOT following instructions OR training. Ever wonder how much 'other training' is all bullshit??

How is this magic dog not shot, with intent to kill???

Just last week I saw a video of a Golden Retriever, wagging it's tail, (NOT a trained attacker/killer...) get shot by a cop. Really?

    1. DO NOT blame the dog. Just don't. That's 100% on the handler.

  7. I see about a dozen people in that video that need to spend some quality time between the dog's teeth

  8. 1) Eliminate "qualified immunity"
    2) Require all "law enforcement officers" to hold private liability insurance as a condition of employment
    3) Any damages that exceed the insurance limit come out of the police pension fund.

This is the ONLY way to get this shit under control.

Oh yeah, destroy the dog. It is clearly vicious.

  9. On the cop cars written "To Serve And Protect", an addendum should be added "The State, Not The Public"....

  10. That is 100% on the handler. The handler deserves to be taken behind the truck and shot.

  11. After what the trucker did, not only should the dog NOT have been called off but then turned loose on the cameraman. And BTW, I have no love of cops.
