A couple surrendered a baby that was handed to them by a woman at a Hollywood restaurant early Tuesday, police said.
The incident occurred just after midnight at Chris N Eddy’s, located at 5539 Sunset Blvd., according to the Beverly Hills Police Department, which was originally handling the case.
I'm guessing the liberal DA will go after the parents since they weren't involved in child trafficking. BTW, the authors failed to identify all 50 of the baby's pronouns/genders, merely stating the old fashioned and incorrect him or her designations.
Being California, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, I'm surprised that this was considered "newsworthy." If it happened in, say, Knoxville or Nashville or Peoria, sure... but California probably sees events like this (and much worse) this almost daily.
Because it happened in California, it made the news. A baby not flushed or discarded to a trash heap ... in California! ... that's what makes it newsworthy.
Sounds like a responsible mother. She could have left it in a dumpster instead of giving it to a couple of probably prosperous looking citizens. No, I don't know why she didn't go to the police or fire department. Maybe her interactions with them haven't been pleasant.
"The case was eventually handed over to the Los Angeles Police Department since the original incident occurred in their jurisdiction, Beverly Hills police explained in a statement."
It's much more prestigious to be abandoned in Beverly Hills than in Los Angeles.
One month is more than 72 hours, skippy……

DeleteBaby alive and well. Happily a Planned Parenthood failure

ReplyDeleteSafe surrender at a police station or fire department is only for the first 72 hours. This baby was one month old, past the limit.
