The Placer County District Attorney's Office said it "has vehemently opposed" William Stephenson's release during every court proceeding involving the sex offender. On Monday, after a three-hour hearing and argument, the judge granted Stephenson transient release in Placer County.
Sounds like an early opening for hunting season...
ReplyDeleteYa know, I almost get it.
ReplyDeleteThis is the conundrum we are facing. Many of the people among us are straight up unfit for society.
So what do you do with them?
Thats the judges problem here. They cannot retain the individual legally. We need to change the laws.
Yeah. Way too many activist j'judges' veering way out of their lanes, with others being handcuffed, like this one. But we could always try Sharia law for awhile, until certain problems are taken care of...
Delete"The judge at the time even expressed concerns about transient release..." OK, but he released the perp anyway??!! Everything wrong with California in one morality tale.
ReplyDeleteThey will imprison any citizen that so much as musses the preverts hair for approaching a child.
ReplyDeleteIt's all gone to far.
Placer County's a big place. Lots of trees and, I believe, abandoned mine shafts.
ReplyDeleteYes indeed.
DeleteJudges that release violent people need to have some skin in the game. They need to be personally held judicially and financially liable for all actions of the releasee.
ReplyDeleteThose responsible for this guy's release need to be held accountable. Start with law makers and journalists.
ReplyDelete"Liberty Healthcare, the health provider that was originally in charge of finding housing for Stephenson upon release, plans to buy an RV for Stephenson to live in when he is let out, the district attorney's office said." Will the "healthcare provider" that supplies a violent sexual predator a RV to get around in be held partially responsible when things go badly? Are they going to save time and paint FREE CANDY on it before he gets the RV ?
