#4: Why you alternate your ratchets from side to side, then recheck everything. Smaller diameter pipe or rebar would have just gone through the driver.
I'm guessing the lawyers for the hospital in #1 had massive heart attacks when they saw that video and realized what that was going to cost the hospital. I hope that guy wasn't hurt, but you know he laughs every time he looks at his bank account these days!!!
I disturbed a nest of small very aggressive bees with a front loader once. It was an older machine with no rops or cab, so I threw the clutch out ( the lever blocked the way off) and jumped off running.I ran as far as I could and finally just gave up and figured the stings wouldn't be as bad as the heart attack. I only got stung two or three times. The machine sat there running for about an hour before I sneaked back to look. They had calmed down by then and I got the machine away. The next day they met the gas can and match.
I drive trucks like that, set parking brake in cab, raise crash bar at fill heads, chock blocks. Three separate ways to prevent that and all 3 are standard operating procedures. ( Crash bar sets trailer brake)

I don't see any tie downs at all, just a band around the group.
DeleteI see no tie downs nor headache rack. Both would have been very handy.
