Senator Rand Paul declared Wednesday that the U.S. cannot afford to keep sending money and ammo to Ukraine in order to fight a war with Russia, because the country has run out of both.
Appearing on Fox Business, Paul responded to the almost weekly announcement now that the Biden administration is sending another billion dollars in aid to Ukraine.

I remember getting this advice from some asshole that used to live in CA saying to buy a box every payday. For once I listened to advice from others and am sitting on a good stock. Best part was I also applied it to primers, powder and bullets.
ReplyDeleteI said that I did that. Maybe not to you, but that tactic has worked out well for me. I no longer have paydays but monthly works, too. It's kind of depressing to pull out a 20 year old box of .357 and notice the prices back then, though.
Deleteyeah. how about surplus 7.62 ammo that used to be 20 cents a round ? and yes. it still fires and works. and like you, no more paydays, but every month I try to get to something. really miss those old prices on surplus ammo. last time I check out my stash of primers, the price on a brick of them was 21.95.
Deletefunny that my grandson is the one pointing out the price difference to me.
although some of my older shotgun shells have split after firing them ?
he likes my semiauto 12 gauge a lot !
thinking of getting a new 22 mag rifle maybe this year. not sure as the ammo is kind of pricey these days. and as a old grunt, you never have enough ammo. dave in pa.
Correction: The US Government is out of ammo. The citizens have trillions of rounds.
ReplyDeleteI also bought at least a brick of 22LR and a brick of primers once a month back in the late 80's. I didn't buy the cheap leadheads but I got Stingers and Super X JHP most of the time. I quit buying the 22LR ammo when the shelf in my storeroom closet couldn't physically hold any more in the mid 00's. I also got my grandfather's Ted Williams (Winchester) 22LR, magazine fed, bolt action, barrel re-lined and a picatinny rail installed for optics. At 50 yards you can cover all 7 shots with a nickel.
I volunteer Lindsey Graham and all other war mongers to go to the front line in Ukraine.
ReplyDeleteThe U S Armed Forces R & D need to cobble together some ramped up circus cannons and use the warmongers as (wait for it.....)
cannon fodder.
I second this idea.
DeleteEh. Can we install the steerable fins on them and just drop them?
DeleteIf you're willing to see off your sons/grandsons to Europe when Russia or Belarus finally attacks a NATO member, then fine. Until then, sending Ukraine arms and munitions is the better alternative.

No matter what the adversity there's always a plan B to fall back on : Fix bayonets!
ReplyDeleteThat should be done for pride parades and illegal alien gatherings
DeleteRand Paul tends to be willing to speak out when the others don't have the guts to do so. This isn't the only time.

Fire Engulfs Sen. Rand Paul’s Kentucky Office Overnight. Arson Suspected
Was somebody trying to send him a message?
I was a big supporter of his dad, I believe Rand is almost as good

Rand Paul is a truth-teller and a patriot just like his dad. We need many more like him if we're going to survive the Biden crime family.
ReplyDeleteWe are happy everyone here are posting how much ammo they have stashed, please include your address!

ReplyDelete"What's this WE, white man?"
Simply replace with "Government" and "Citizens."
we're not out of ammo. we're getting close to the amount of ammo we can legally give away...which still leaves us more ammo than everyone else combined. and since we're ramping up production, we're not going to go below that level. legally, we can't.

we're not out of money, because for the most part we're not giving money..we're giving equipment. and we're counting the replacement cost of that equipment, not the actual cost.
an example...
if I have a 20 year old hummvee, that's at the end of it's service life, normally we scrap it and get maybe $500 for the scrap metal. if I give it to ukraine, how much have we given them? $30,000. that's the cost if we were going to buy another hummvee...but we're not buying another one to replace it. we claim $30,000, because the left likes to virtue signal, and the right knows no one is gonna get all that upset over $500. they both know it is a lie, but each likes the lie for their own reasons, so neither will tell you it is a lie.
The only reason we are not out of money is due to the fact the government controls the printing, of course it's pretty much worthless now due to that.....Assholes

I bet Rand Paul is the only United States Senator that cuts his own grass. When Obama was President my instincts told me I needed more firepower. I had a single shot 22 and decided to go ak because I like cheap and simple. The UPS guy was complaining because he had to hump cases of Russian surplus from his truck to my porch. Had to put a extra concrete pier under the safe on my doublewide to support the weight.
