Animal Rescue Corps (ARC) says it happened on two trash-strewn properties in Newton, MS. Responders found dozens of dogs chained outdoors to trees, trapped in outdoor cages, camping tents, and some running loose. More than 12 dead and decomposing carcasses were found in cages and scattered around. Many of the chained dogs appear to have serious dental damage, ground and missing teeth, presumably from chewing at their chains to free themselves.

Children and domestic animals need to be protected from such scum.

ReplyDeleteI believe that it should be illegal to breed animals unless that person is a veterinarian or has proven to be responsible by having to get licensed and be routinely inspected. I feel sort of the same way about human breeding for some people. I know, I know… just more government, but until we can shoot these types of people on sight or as was mentioned fed to the hogs, something has to be done.

Son and DIL foster animals (mainly dogs) and so many of them come with traumatic backgrounds that they never really recover. Not so different from kids who are rescued from abusive/negligent parents.
