The ankle monitor didn't appear to slow him down any, did it?

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A suspected gunman was arrested on Monday after police said his ankle monitor helped link him to an alleged armed robbery in which two people were shot.

Santez Beddingfield, 20, of La Vergne, was required to wear an ankle monitor after being arrested for a shooting in late 2022, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department. However, it was not the first time Beddingfield has been accused of a violent crime.

  2. It slowed him down just as much as a restraining order does. i.e. it's something that works only as long as the person it targets has a sense of honor & morality, and won't violate it. Otherwise, it's simply a legal fiction that doesn't prevent anything.

  4. The ankle monitor is the newest dindu accessory, apparently. Everybody who is anybody is sporting them nowadays. Comes in gold-plated to match the grill.
