Federal Court Clears Path for New Jersey to Pursue Legal Action Against Gun Manufacturers

In a significant ruling, the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals announced on Thursday that New Jersey possesses the authority to sue firearm manufacturers under its “public nuisance” law. This comes as a substantial victory for the ant-freedom state and its ongoing efforts to gut public safety amidst the backdrop of gun rights affirmation by the U.S. Supreme Court.

  1. Just more proof the Progressive Democrats are neurotic, obsessed control freaks. They don't give a shit about "saving lives" They hate guns because they see them as a tool of independence and they think this suing manufactures will result in no more guns in American’s hands legally without fucking with the 2nd amendment. They are all sick motherfuckers who will not stop until they stop breathing.

  2. but the state can produce the law without any proof that the law is needed or required. Nice gig the pols and the judges have. just do what they want and the rest of us have to put up with it.

  3. Can you sue ford because a drunk driver killed you in one of thier cars, can you sue mcdonalds because thier crappy food gave you high cholesterol and a heart attack, how about hostess because thier sweets gave you diabetes which ended up killing you. Just another democrat power grab to steal our rights and freedoms

  4. Fight back GM's. You all have more money than Jersey does. Sue them right out of their statehood.

  5. From Google:
NJ vehicle deaths in 2022: 705
NJ firearm deaths in 2022: 207

I think they're fighting the wrong fight. If vehicles aren't a public nuisance, and killed that many, then how can guns be?

  6. Public nuisance? What if the gun makers, wholesalers, & retailers stopped all sales to Joisey? I mean ALL sales. Not even to police. Ammunition too. Fuck 'em.

  10. Per the article, "the law aims to hold accountable those whose actions, driven by profit motives, exacerbate the epidemic of gun violence." That tells me that they could also sue armed "dark-skinned" individuals that are involved in any crime.

Kinda puts Big Pharma right in the sights, doesn't it?

  11. Is there not a law already in existence - validated by the Supremes - which states manufacturers are not respponsible for the crimes and accidents committed by customers? I mean, I believe the Court is a corrupt bribe-taking institution, but I never thought judges were particularly stupid. Until now.

  12. Well then, let's sue people who use guns in violent criminal activity and give tax credits to good people using guns to protect themselves, their families and their communities. It's for the chillrun.

  14. Starker here,
Many of us in Eastern PA, from PA, know Jersey as a Communist State!
It's free to enter, you pay to leave. You can't pump your gas. Also, if you have PA License plate, you are fair game to State Pole-ice. We're easily spotted approaching, no front plate. They go crazy for PAs with CCW. I guess we're supposed to magically make the Ws go somewhere else if we enter NJ.
