  3. In the back of his mind, that Dad will always have a memory of her as a nine-year-old girl sitting at the kitchen table doing her homework.

  4. 35 years ago... Was preparing to walk my daughter down the isle and was searching for the right words when she said "Daddy, don't you make me cry." So I shut my yap and did the walk.

  5. My stepdaughteris estranged from her father and asked me to do the walk a year ago. It was a very nice gesture on her part. It's a special thing to have an adult pick you as a dad.

  6. My bride waddled down the aisle 6 months pregnant, escorted by her Dad who put up a brave front, bless his kind, old heart. MIL did not even try to hide her embarrassment and disgust.
