Party on

New research finds that binge drinking and marijuana use are higher than ever among middle-aged adults in the United States. 

The study, which comes from the University of Michigan's Monitoring the Future panel, was funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse.

  1. Given the clown world we live in, is it any wonder? I know my drinking has increased dramatically the past few years.

    2. and I stopped drinking myself. started putting more cash into getting more canned food
      on the shelfs downstairs instead. but I do understand why drinking has picked up.
      image looking around and finding out that THIS is the best you ever going to see and be ? there are 2 of the worse clowns in the white house and god only knows who running the country now. add in the fact that the dollar is dropping like a rock,
      and the ones you have are worth less every day now. why not get drunk or stoned ? really there not a lot of hope out there these days. dave in pa.

  3. I'm 63 so I don't think I count as middle-aged anymore. I don't refer to it as "binge drinking". It's just getting more done in less time.
