In nearly half of the United States, all three are legal for those over 21: alcohol, tobacco and marijuana. However, the three substances come with different rules, taxes and — of course — health effects.
We posed the question to three doctors around the country: How do alcohol, weed and cigarettes rank when it comes to your health?
Mine take 33.3% alcohol, 33.3% weed, 33.3%cigarettes.....
ReplyDeleteExactly! Its all about finding the right balance!
DeleteThose three are healthier than going to the doctor in too many cases.
ReplyDeleteI'm still here after all four.
Red wine, Jack & Coke with an edible. And pass me the Cadillac margarita, old fashioned (w/Maker’s) and a Tanqueray martini with lots olives. The occasional cigar - gave up the cigarettes years ago.
ReplyDeleteThe sick thing is, if you have the right genes you can get away with anything. Just ask Keith Richards.
ReplyDeleteI drink coffee and have the occasional beer. About once a decade, I enjoy some scotch and a cigar.
ReplyDeleteI would give all that up if I knew that chewing Mammoth Cave twist wouldn't give me cancer.
My "vice" is probably chocolate milk and cheesecake, I'm a comfort food man. Unfortunately, due to inflation, I had to let go of the cheesecake. I do enjoy a bit of hard lemonade / soda from time to time and whiskey is good for defeating coughs when ill, so there is that.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind trying weed when it's legal in my state, just to see what the hype is all about.

In other words, "all things in moderation".
ReplyDeleteI avoid all 3 but it seems like a moot point in a country where cheeseburgers, potato chips, and soft drinks are what is actually killing everyone. Look around.
