Pritzker: ‘Better than 30%’ odds gun ban survives federal courts

(The Center Square) – Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker appeared to concede that his and Democratic lawmakers' ban on a wide variety of semi-automatic handguns and rifles has a less than 50-50 chance of surviving in the federal court system.

What a piece of shit, signing a gun ban into law solely on the hopes it'll pass muster.

    I left the Socialist Republic of Illinois 11 years ago.
    It was bad then, it's worse now and they're still going down hill.
    Democrats (primarily from Chicago) control every state office and most counties.
    I see no change in the future, outside of being worse, year by year.

    California does the same thing. A legislative chairmen said a certain bill that was just passed was unconstitutional but that those that passed didn't care.

    That's how the commie gun grabbers work...they just keep passing illegal anti 2A laws over and over and over knowing they only have to prevail in court once to win. If they try often enough eventually the get a judge who agrees with them and they win. They do this because they suffer absolutely no consequences for their never ending assaults on our rights. Till that fact changes they will simply keep trying...at our expense.

    Annd if it's declared unconstitutional, why the'll just copy-and-paste, change a word here and there and pass a bright shiny even more restrictive ban, just like NY, NJ, MA.
    And unless the pro-gunners get an injunction, it will be the law of the land the whole entire time.
