Police on Friday released a video of a man they say stole a bike from a garage in a San Diego neighborhood, all while sharing a surprisingly sweet moment with the homeowner’s dog, KTLA sister station KSWB reported.
The theft occurred on July 15 around 10:40 p.m., after the suspect entered a garage in the Pacific Beach neighborhood and left with a 2019 black Electra three-speed bicycle, the San Diego Police Department said in a Facebook post on Thursday.

You've got to see this video to believe it.
Yup.
ReplyDeleteAnd the homeowners left their property unsecured because???
ReplyDeleteDid you never forget to close your garage door? Or have it go back up when closing because something got in the way of the sensor?
DeleteA motion alarm in the garage is useful to alert you. A camera only shows you what happened while you were away. Perhaps it was a ring camera and the owner was notified, but wasn't home.
Thieves suck, even if they are nice to animals.
I saw this recently. Probably would have turned out a little different if Rover was a Pitbull
ReplyDeleteHeartwarming.
ReplyDeleteBut he's still a piece of shit.
The video is not available in the UK. Someone tell me what happens, please.
ReplyDeleteThief walks into an open garage to steal a bike, Golden Retriever walks out of the house and goes up to him for a pet before rolling over on his back for a belly rub.
DeleteI’ve had a golden. I don’t need to see the video to know the golden probably just made friends with the perp.
ReplyDeleteGolden Retrievers, the dumb blonds of the dog world.
ReplyDeleteAt least they dont get their foot caught in the steering wheel trying to dim the headlights.
