Singapore executed a woman for the first time in 19 years on Friday, marking the city-state's second death by hanging this week for convicted drug traffickers.
Saridewi Djamani, 45, was sentenced to death in 2018 for trafficking nearly 31 grams of pure heroin, according to the Central Narcotics Bureau. The agency described the amount as "sufficient to feed the addiction of about 370 abusers for a week."
Well, one could make the assertion that the majority of drug crimes are perpetrated by the "diverse" class...and if the state executes those who break these laws...then one could logically make the assumption that the "diverse" class would quickly dwindle to extinction. Or, those of the diverse class who survive are either law-abiding and/or smarter than their extinguished "class mates".
The "diverse" group used to be considerably better behaved - before LBJ realized he could buy votes with welfare dollars, and borrow those dollars on the good reputation of the US Treasury. Now we've been paying for fatherless children and the inability to work or take care of oneself and ones children for nearly 60 years, and we got a lot of what we paid for - and worse.
I've been to Singapore a bunch of times for business. It's clean, the people are friendly, no one effs around in public. A very diverse population, Singaporeans are largely ethnic Chinese but there are a bunch of residents and citizens from all over the world. Imagine that ! They practice what they preach which is the ultimate eff around and find out.
Basically, don't be a drug addict or user (including marijuana) in Singapore: https://www.thaiexaminer.com/thai-news-foreigners/2023/04/27/singapore-executes-man-for-phone-contacts-tangaraju-suppiah-hanged-changi/
Probably a good thing that she was vaccinated....
ReplyDeleteMess with horse and you'll wind up hangin' out with the wrong crowd.
ReplyDeleteAnyone else notice that since liberals and pussies decried corporal punishement crome has become more endemic?
ReplyDeleteYa mean a deterrent is a deterrant?
Good for them! There's a reason it's one of, if not the, cleanest and safest city in the world.
ReplyDeleteAnd no "Diversity".
DeleteSo they got that going for them.

DeleteMy daughter will be there for business next month. I'll remind her to leave the heroin at home.

ReplyDelete"...evidence shows that capital punishment does not deter illegal drug activity."
ReplyDeleteEh, I'm pretty sure she's not going to engage in any more illegal drug activity after this.
That's still pretty fuckin' harsh. Although, if you're in Singapore, you know the deal going in...

ReplyDeleteTheir circus, their monkeys.
DeleteI like capital punishment, me.
Remember Michael Fay, and all the fake outrage over him getting caned for being the asshole that he was? They don't play in Singapore.
