If the school DOESN'T do this, then calling "Gary" by his (teacher's) preferred name of "Sally" will perforce be permitted, and without notice if not actually hidden from parents. Of course, the right answer is to get the idiot teachers/admins out of the schools, or the kid out of public school. Classic example of the passive resistance the schools put up, petty nuisance maximized. Defund the schools!
