Exactly call their bluff. Same in WA state or any others, announce plans to start shutting down refineries and other related businesses. Stop selling gas in the state, only move it out of the state, etc. Would be a few weeks before they capitulated.
DeleteThey should stop selling petroleum products in the state until the case is dropped. Because if it goes to trial, and they lose, California gasoline will go to $20/gallon and natural gas will probably hit $50/cuft.

ReplyDeleteThe only pipelines that carry oil and gas in California are the pipelines that run from refineries in L.A. and the Bay Area to Las Vegas and Reno. All the crude coming in is by ships and trains.
