Historically, the invasion of the southern border is not unlike any other invasion or migration where the people of the victim nation were unable to prevent it. The Chinese built the great wall to defend their nation from the Mongols, who then turned around and invaded the landmass to the west, all the way up to Spain. Any given invasion or migration can be delved into in minute detail, if that were the purpose of this post, but it’s not. It’s the general idea of placing this invasion into perspective as one of the planet’s occasional redistributions of peoples. The “discovery” of the American continent led to much the same thing. Some have been accomplished for natural reasons, out of desperation, some in search of power or riches, this is no different. Those who seek to come to America are seeking the rich payoffs the Biden Administration is offering. Free stuff is the motivation of almost all invasions.
