Stockon police are investigating a brazen attack on a rideshare driver in their own department headquarters parking lot.
The victim drove to the police headquarters because he felt threatened by his customer. That customer then attacked the rideshare driver and stole his car.
We must remember the police are merely a report agency and are not legally obliged to save you. Keeping your ass on the green side is your responsibility.
Random thought, most small police stations don’t have a lot of officers hanging around. If you think you need help, a fire station is often a better bet.
