That dog is gorgeous, and the black swallowtail butterfly looks like its clapping its wings telling the dog he’s a good boy. I love these daily good mornings, thank you so much! Farm Wife
Love your comment and hate to go all OCD but that's a Tiger Swallowtail. If you grow a little parsley in the garden you can usually find some tiny eggs in the early summer and raise em all the way until they hatch out as butterflys. All you have to do is put them in a big jar with air holes in the lid and the caterpillars will just eat parsley till its time to pupate. The Tiger and The Black are among the most beautiful creatures on earth.
Love this picture. What a good puppy not to eat the butterfly. Nice good morning for sure.
ReplyDeleteProbably 2 secs later dog eats it.
DeleteDogs and butteflies, I like em both. Nice Good Morning.
ReplyDeleteLooks a whole lot better than a nose ring. Good dogger!

DeleteDog and Butterfly, by Heart.
ReplyDeleteThat certainly ain't my good boy, who would have made a quick snack of that swallowtail.
