If You Need Pain Pills, Politicians Want To Monitor Your Body Chemistry
What if your medical conditions could be monitored from a distance to assess your health and adjust treatment plans based on real-time information? What if the same technology could be used to track your use of medications, such as opioids, to make sure you're not using them in frequencies and dosages frowned upon by bureaucrats who've never met you? You might already have guessed that it's that second implementation of the technology that interests politicians, who want to remotely monitor our body chemistry to stop us from getting high.

weird, and I used to bitch about piss tests at the VA too. funny thing, after my last pain management meeting. the doc figured out I had a handle on it and was doing okay with it.
ReplyDeletenow I get a piss test like maybe twice a year.
but people I know who deal with pain management on the outside get tested every month before they get a refill on their meds. and now they want to do more ?
what a bunch of control freaks they are. dave in pa.
It's funny, in many ways the fight against illegal drug use is the same fight as they wage against illegal gun use. Instead of trying to actually concentrate on those who are the criminal users, they instead put the emphasis on those who are law abiding citizens, with a true need for the things that they wish to control.
ReplyDeleteThat must be the operative word, control. It is a hell of a lot easier to control a law abiding citizen than it is to control a criminal.
My wife is on high dose pain medications, on a daily basis. She lives in fear that she will one day hit someone's radar, and lose her medical necessary treatment, and will be left screwed.
Myself, I was on pain medications as well, but due to my migraine problems, my neurologist won't prescribe them, due to the possible rebound effect. So my other pain issues are left for me to just deal with.
I read a doctor's report that spoke of how narcotics can be replaced with yoga and tai chi. As if pain is mostly in a person's head. They are even trying to cut the use of pain medication for terminally ill patients, due to worry about addiction. And our government strikes again.
Fuck that shit. It's already hard enough for people on long-term pain mangement.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't they just come out and say they want Canada's "we will suicide you" law?
And, once again, Sara Palin is correct. More and more, wish we had gotten her as a president than the Lightbringer or the Mumbler.
👍
DeleteThe media made Sarah Palin out to be a backwoods idiot. She is anything but that. The problem was, she was simply not ready for the national stage. Given another 8 years or so, with the right people helping her, she could have done some pretty good things for both the Republicans and the American people.
DeleteI still see her on occasion, but she has sort of been ignored lately. If a third party ever got anything going for real, she would be an asset.
There is something to be said for making sure that a patient takes their medication on time, and takes all of the prescribed doses. Any tracking beyond that: fuck right off.
ReplyDeleteThat's between the doctor and the patient. It's not the government's business.
DeletePain is criminally undertreated in the USA today. If these drug warriors had to live the way they want the serfs to, the cowards would suck start a shotgun after a week.
ReplyDelete" remotely monitor our body chemistry to stop us from getting high."
ReplyDeleteThere is a misunderstanding here. They want to know when you're NOT high, and may be waking up to realize you're being controlled 7*24.
No, they want you in pain and miserable because they are evil. Like was said of the puritans, they have "The haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy."
DeleteMy wife had a fucked up back with an MRI to prove it. They wouldn't give her shit. Nothing whatsoever. She was laid up in bed for several weeks without a damn thing. I hate these motherfuckers. Fuck Biden, Fuck Doctors. And FUCK Dems and Repubs. Overpriced worthless motherfuckers.
ReplyDeleteWith the Neuralink, who gets to run the game controller 🎮?
ReplyDeleteI understand, say, the VA wanting to see that the patient is not, how do they say it..."Diverting them to the free market". But that's tax money. I have had a number of friends who were Pain Management Specialists, with MDs and all. The DEA pulled their licenseses within 10 years, every damn one, for 'irregularities', and they can no longer practice medicine. THAT's why it's so fucking hard to get a pain management specialist. Have you orthopaedist, or your oncologist, or whoever write your pain scrips
ReplyDeleteGet a good relationship with your local charity hospital, and don't lie to them. Me, I'm a regular customer. They KNOW me at Ben Taub (Rated 'best ER Service' 10 years in a row. Would recommend, would not go back given a chance). Well, the old timers know me, and I know the head of the ER from church. It's in my charts 'no pain relief response to oral codeine, formication with morphine. Ask about his pain. He will very well say 'don't bother. If he says "Oh FUCK it hurts" commence Dilaudid drip. Push first unit".
HEADLINE: Local Hospital Loses Hundreds Of Doses of Narcotics! Well, simple health regulations say if it hits the floor, you can't dispense it. Amazing how many oxycontin hit the floor, as opposed to say Furosimide, or Tylenol.
My friend’s husband was a start up entrepreneur. He was approached about launching a company that was an opioids that had a “tracking micro chip” imbedded for the soul purpose of making the drugs stop working if you were on the verge of overdosing from neglect! He asked me if he should take the client. I replied, no, never! They will overdose them for population control!
ReplyDeleteJust tell them your name is Hunter Biden ( and you need an extra 10% for the Big Guy)
