On the opening day of Burning Man, an environmentalist group blocked off the road to the festival, causing traffic to back up as far as the eye could see. Because they were converging on tribal land, tribal police showed up, rammed through their barricade, brandished a gun, and handcuffed and removed the offenders. Their rapid and decisive action was stunning only because it seemed anachronistic in an age of excessive deference to protestors.
On their website the activists claimed that they embrace “peacefulness” and that their “words and actions are nonviolent.” Although the video they posted showed only a half dozen young people blocking the road in the Nevada desert, activists stated that their strategy is to “deploy mass turnout disruptive direct action” to advance their political goals.
Just shoot these fookers. Be The Orkin Man. Get rid of pests
ReplyDeleteGeneral lesson, from this and other things seen in the past:
ReplyDeleteDo NOT screw with tribal police. They generally don't give a rats ass about your 'intentions' and such, they will put you in a cell. By the means necessary.
The Paiute rangers should have used a snowplow...
ReplyDeleteThat's Indian territory , they have their own laws.
ReplyDeleteNo Good deed Goes Unpunished: "The actions of a ranger for the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe Reservation in northwestern Nevada are under review after he pointed a weapon Sunday at climate activists blocking the road to the annual Burning Man counter-culture festival in the desert'.

I would be happy if people were allowed to drive over or through idiots who protest on roads.
ReplyDeletesince when is permission necessary to run over road trash?
DeleteAllowed…
DeleteI have long disagreed that "Sit ins" that focus on denying others from a resource like blocking traffic, blocking access to a business, and other tactics is not "peaceful." The protesters have forcibly occupied that resource so as to deny others the ability to use it. That is a passive-aggressive form of violence.
ReplyDeleteRadical communism? Don't see much of that. In this small town.
DeleteAt what point will the elected officials both federal and state, start to put an end to these POS attempting to hold America hostage? I am thinking about not just blocking access to various places, but also things like damaging expensive artworks on display in museums, etc.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, these thugs who toss paint or tomato soup onto a painting in a museum, which is for the view of the public, who otherwise would never get the opportunity to see it, and then crazy glue their hand to the floor, should not be allowed to wait until acetone can be brought in to gently remove their hands from the floor. I figure that after the first 3 or 4 people have their entire palm stripped of the skin, with a visit to the hospital ER before they are sent to jail, with no bail since there is the danger of them repeating the crime while awaiting trial, the odds of others repeating the crime of vandalism falls rather quickly.
I watched Vivek Ramaswamy on Youtube last night, to see just what his thoughts were on a number of issues, since he was an unknown to me. He has just come out with his foreign policy ideas, and while like all politicians he has areas in places that are weak, I actually am intrigued by him. His policy thoughts on the China/Taiwan issue is simply something that you must read or listen to. Basically while we are dependent on Taiwan for semi conductors, we must protect them from Chinese aggression. While at the same time building our own ability to manufacture the items domestically, and strengthen Taiwan for the future, to defend themselves.
There is of course much more to it, but one thing that I have to mention and that will no doubt place a big red X on his back, is that he said that he wants to export the 2nd amendment to Taiwan, both allowing their citizens to own individual arms and to be able to defend themselves against aggressors. To have a presidential candidate not only say that he supports the 2nd amendment but also wants to help another nation get the same thing for their own people, tells me that he likely is serious about protecting that freedom for us here at home. I do know that we could do worse than this young man, in fact we are doing much worse right now. He actually wants to not drain the swamp, but to get rid of much of the swamp by shutting down agencies like the FBI and others that have become the bloated behemoths that they are.
I would vote for Trump again, since he is the closest thing to a representative for the people that I recall ever having, even with his incredible baggage. But I can't be certain that he will be allowed to run by those who are actually running things. That is why I am checking out the rest of the field.
in most cases the elected officials and bureaucrats are BEHIND or funding the "activists". just like the EPA suing for more regulatory capture under the guise and the behind the false front of environmental groups. None of this is for the state agenda. it's all for tyranny.

ReplyDeleteDoes anyone read reply's that are more than 4-5 sentences?

DeleteReplies. Damn.
DeleteYes, some of us do; the short one liners with nothing to offer not so much.
DeleteI saw the video of all that happening and it was a beautiful sight to see. The whiney bitches were shocked when the those Indian cops came down on them like locust, lol....One idiot had chained herself to a little flat trailer and when that pickup truck drove through it was priceless.. 👍👍 to those guys...

"Does anyone read reply's that are more than 4-5 sentences?"
ReplyDeleteIf you find it difficult to read more than a few sentences, you must be using your phone to access the internet. I read hundreds of pages a day, but I'm on a hot-rod desktop with a large monitor. I find one-word posts more frustrating than large blocks of text.
Bullshit.
ReplyDeleteCunts that insist on exerting control over others are about nothing but themselves.

While I like the idea of ripping their hands/feet free without solvent, I am also in favor of giving them a bottle of water, removing any solvent they have in their possession and leaving them alone for a few days. It is like self-imposed solitary confinement.
