Target closing 3 Bay Area stores due to retail theft

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Target announced it is closing three stores in the Bay Area due to retail theft, the company announced Tuesday.

"We cannot continue operating these stores because theft and organized retail crime are threatening the safety of our team and guests, and contributing to unsustainable business performance," the Minneapolis-based company wrote on its website.

After the gender-neutral bathroom deal a couple years ago and them embracing the whole drag queen thing recently, I could care less if the entire chain closed down. Actually, I hope it does.

  1. Maybe they should ditch the ineffective "Gun Free Zone" signs and put "Baboon Free Zone" signs in the big box retail stores.

    1. Most can't read, but just to be sure, make the sign font cursive.

    2. It's "I couldn't care less". Saying you could care less implies that you care somewhat.

    3. Irregardless, it means the same thing to most people.

  2. Add, NYC, Seattle, Portland. I quit shopping Target along time ago. Good riddance

  3. That sack of shit company lasted less than an year in TGWN .... fuck them.
