“Let’s say, ‘Hey here’s a million dollars to do X,’” Sen. Jon Lundberg (R-Bristol) said. “Well, suddenly, if the state has to hire 10 people and they have to contract out four people and it costs us a million and five, is that a good deal for Tennessee, economically?”
A side benefit is you dont have to worry about them cutting off you educational funds if you dont follow their agenda.
ReplyDeleteOr them cutting off little boys because there needs to be a quota of transgenders......
ReplyDeleteOne of our local school districts was visited by someone from the Department of Education. After a tour of the schools and a discussion of the curriculum, the school superintendent was presented with a list of changes. The superintendent looked over the list and informed the DOE representative that they'd take it all under advisement. The DOE representative leaned back in his chair and informed the superintendent that they either made the changes, or they'd lose federal funding. The superintendent looked back at him and said "We don't accept federal funds". The DOE representative didn't know how to respond. To my knowledge, that district still doesn't accept federal funds and has one of the highest education ratings in the state. Tennessee is on the right track. Dump the feds and start educating kids the right way instead of the politically correct way.
ReplyDeleteGet the feds out of our homes and schools and we are on the right track and a good start to get some of our sanity in this country back

The liberal dems in nashvegas are screaming "they're giving up free money!?" Fcking roaches have more respect and character.
ReplyDeleteIf you tour a typical public school, you'll see as many administrators as teachers (and better paid!) and more money going into the offices than the classrooms. They justify this inverted pyramid by the need to fill out heaps of paperwork for the federal and state funding.
ReplyDeleteThat's a fact, jack. Lived it for 20+ years as public school IT guy......
