ReplyDeleteHunters song.
ReplyDeleteI went home with the waitress, the way I always do
How was I to know, she was with the Russians, too?
I was gambling in Havana, I took a little risk
Send lawyers, guns and money, dad, get me out of this, ha
I'm the innocent bystander
Somehow I got stuck between the rock and a hard place
And I'm down on my luck, yes I'm down on my luck
Well, I'm down on my luck
And I'm hiding in Honduras
I'm a desperate man
Send lawyers, guns, and money
The shit has hit the fan
Alright, send lawyers, guns, and money
A very much under rated songsmith.
ReplyDeleteThe mercenary’s bard.
ReplyDeleteThe only reason I would watch David Letterman was that he was buddies with Warren & would have him play at least twice a year. Letterman skits with Rupert of Hello Deli & Stupid Pet Tricks were funny too. I applaud him for having Warren on the show regularly. On October 30, 2022 a cancer stricken Warren played one last song on the Tonight Show. It was heavy but sad too. Rest in Peach Warren...

ReplyDeleteFrank G
Amazing album and an amazing dude. It's still so strange that so many of his songs were about death and he was was taken so soon...
