And another liberal decides it's time to get tough on crime

Democratic Texas Rep. Henry Cuellar was carjacked at gunpoint Monday night near his residence in the Navy Yard area of Washington, D.C. just blocks from the Capitol.

An alert sent to congressional members stated three to four men held guns to his head and took his car and phone, sources told ABC News.

  3. Someone said "A Liberal is Just a Conservative Who Hasn’t Been Mugged". Looks like another liberal just joined the conservative ranks.

These roving street gangs need to be dealt with harshly by the authorities before they seriously harm people.

  6. Don't criminals in DC know that people in suits are likely to have bags of cash in their pockets? Also, if they 'D' lapel pins, they probably aren't armed.

    1. Given that AOC was nearby, I'm left wondering where Cuellar's staff might have been... ;-)

  12. Unless they fixed up the Navy Yard area in the last 25, not the best place to be...

  13. 750 cars jacked that night, but the police were able to find his car within hours. Smells fishy to me.

  14. And, before we know it, Congress will pass a bill funding chauffeured limos for each Congress person and an around the clock escort of at least two armed Capitol police (who will be restricted to only shoot white patriots that are making threatening gestures) at all times. Then they will be able to more safely pontificate on why the rest of us peons should be disarmed and placed on gov provided reservations.
