California Gov. Gavin Newsom vetoes bill to make free condoms available for high school students
California Gov. Gavin Newsom rejected a bill on Sunday that would have made free condoms available all public high school students, arguing it was too expensive for a state with a budget deficit of more than $30 billion.

ReplyDeleteMaybe California has reached peak socialism - i.e. they've started to run out of other people's money to such an extreme degree that it's actually preventing them from implementing their agenda to further consolidate power.
Unlike the federal government, which will continue to print money until we have helicopter cash deliveries, are using money to start fires, and are paying for food with literal wheelbarrows full of cash. (I'm still fairly certain this will happen, despite so many sources claiming it's impossible that it'd happen here.)

You don't understand. He can't sign everything on the looney Democrat wish list all in the same legislative session. Some of the 1000 bills must wait 'til next year so as to give the appearance that Gavin is a moderate.

I learned this lesson when Moonbeam was governor. He'd only sign two thirds of the gun bills placed on his desk because he knew that if he didn't sign them they'd be back on his desk the next year in a new and improved form. And then he could claim he believed in a citizen's right to own firearms when he really didn't. And many Californians fell for that schtick too.
Don't forget, he's also gotta polish that "moderate" label for his run to replace Biden in the 2024 senile olympics (also known as the presidential race).

Does he blindfold himself, spin around 20 times, and stick pins in random stuff on his desk to decide what to veto? The randomness of how this man governs is a good indicator that he's really unstable.
