"It’s story time y’all!," Shannon Parker said in a Facebook post on Tuesday, claiming she and her husband Stetson spotted Bigfoot while traveling on a train between Durango and Silverton in southwest Colorado.

Meh. It's a hunter, probably a coyote hunter, in a ghillie suit. I've got one just like it that I used for that very same thing.
Well…

Well I have my doubts, I've heard about bigfoot since I was around 8 and 57 years later no proof has been found.... We have satellites with cameras that can zoom in from orbit and nothing, nada so .....

Looks like Big Foot stopped by the local mall for a pair of shades too.

ReplyDeleteAny body here have a big foot skull mounted above their fireplace? ? ?
ReplyDeleteHow about a big foot fur rug? ?
Anybody here ever seen the remains of a big foot?
I don't know how fast that train was going but it seems strange they were able to spot it, get their camera out and take some pictures of a nearly invisible creature and know right where it would be.

This Detroit story states "This story was reported from Los Angeles". So, I'm guessing two pilgrims from L.A. rode the Durango & Silverton Railroad and when they got back home and told their story nobody in California was smart enough to know it was probably a coyote hunter.
ReplyDeleteI base this opinion on the fact that I've seen tons of local news stories about coyotes, wild turkeys, feral pigs and mountain lions roaming in suburban neighborhoods and the people who have seen these critters are clueless enough believe a guy in a ghillie suit wearing eyeglasses with Transition lenses really IS bigfoot.
They're also the kind of people who would like to pet a Bison.
Barack's hubby in a Halloween costume?
ReplyDeleteHow do you know Ole Bigfoot didn't grab a pair of sunglasses from one of those "Missing 411" people to go troll a sightseeing train? Seems reasonable to me.
ReplyDeleteWas it wearing a hoodie and shorts? John Fetterman out for a stroll?
ReplyDeleteColorado? I don't think so. I'd believe it if this happened in Washington or Oregon, but not Colorado.
ReplyDeleteThe tourist railroads will send someone out in a sasquach costume to wave at and be seen by the tourists. The one out of Leadville does it also.
ReplyDeleteI've been on the train several times. It's a slow and enjoyable ride. One trip I spotted a bear and took pictures with about the same quality. Nobody ever seeing Bigfoot gets clear photos. I'd go for the hunter in a ghillie suit.
ReplyDeleteThe camo is very effective for that terrain.
ReplyDeleteThat was the color scheme I used 8 months out of the year when I was in that type of environment. Here in Tennessee, it's good for maybe 2 months out of the year.
