Giving his friends something to talk about for years to come

A teenager has died in a freak accident after sticking his head through the sunroof of a vehicle and striking a concrete beam.

Police in Edmonton, in Canada, said the 18-year-old man had been traveling in a Toyota Camry in the parking lot at West Edmonton Mall when the incident happened on Thursday.

As the vehicle passed underneath a ramp, the teenager struck his head with a concrete beam.

  1. My condolences to the driver, who likely will be traumatized by this, any other passengers, and most of all to the moron's parents for doing such a horrible job raising him.

  2. "Freak accident?" Do stupid stuff, win stupid prizes. Sticking your head out of the sunroof is dangerous. Driving stupidly in the parking lot is dangerous. I'm assuming they didn't have normally drivable parts of the parking lot with overhead beams too low for a pickup truck to drive under. Though the article doesn't have a pic of the beam, so no way to tell for certain.

I feel for the dude, and more so for his family. But calling it a "freak accident" only applies if said accident involved someone who was a freak. Because looks more like premeditated stupidity.

  5. No way. It wasn't an arm. It wasn't a window. So, no way.

    1. Okay. Now I'm off to do a search of him. He was a supporting cast member of a Saturday cartoon whose star was a horse, I'm thinking.

I'm also thinking El Kabong wore Spanish/Mexican clothes and played a guitar.
